Everything not BnW
This one is named after what it isn't, which is about as much of a thesis as it needs. These are the frames where color was the whole reason — the twenty minutes the sky went that red, the green a fuel station throws across wet concrete after dark.
Almost nothing here was made in daylight. Dusk, overcast, the far end of the night: hours when color stops being information about the scene and becomes the scene. Take it away and most of these are just a beach, a wall, a petrol pump.
